This issue focuses on water security in Africa. The feature articles examine the peace pact signed between Ethiopia and Eritrea, regionalism, water security, and transnational cooperation in relation to the Orange River. The journal also contains interviews with Vasu Gounden, the founder and executive director of ACCORD, and with Anthony Turton, Head of the African Water Issues Research Unit at the University of Pretoria. It also provides an overview of developments in conflict spots around Africa focusing on five regions: North Africa, West Africa, Central Africa, East Africa and Southern Africa.
