Feature articles explore the origins of conflict in Nigeria, oil extraction in the Niger Delta, post-transitional conflicts, and the relationship between religion and politics in the country. Other articles discuss post-conflict reconstruction in Somalia, the role of civil society in the Angolan peace process, the colonial legacy in Western Sahara and Zambia's role in the DRC peace process. It also provides an overview of developments in conflict spots in Africa focusing on five regions: North Africa, West Africa, Central Africa, East Africa and Southern Africa.
