Themes discussed includes: child soldiers, gender issues related to AIDS, water conflict, special war crimes courts for Sierra Leone, and the Millennium African Renaissance Programme. It journal also summarizes trends in peacekeeping, conflict prevention and politics in five regions: North Africa, West Africa, Central Africa, East Africa and Southern Africa.
