This issue features articles concerning trends in conflict and post-conflict recovery across Africa. It discusses themes such as: post-conflict reconstruction in Somalia, the writing of constitutions, the presidential system in Zambia, the origins of the African Union, and water conflict between South Africa and Namibia in relation to the Orange River. It also summarizes trends in public sector, conflict prevention and politics in five regions: North Africa, West Africa, Central Africa, East Africa and Southern Africa.
