Publication

This issue focuses on conflicts and efforts of peacekeeping in Africa. The role of the UN, capacity building, and training methods are discussed. In addition, the journal includes an interview with UN Secretary General Kofi Annan and an article discussing the UN's role in post-conflict peace-building efforts in Sierra Leone. There is also a summary of the trends in conflict prevention and the political and constitutional developments prior to October 2002 in five regions: North Africa, West Africa, Central Africa, East Africa and Southern Africa.
