This Insight discusses whether the US has changed its position on an Israeli military strike against Iran as of February 2012. The author argues that the US administration continues to stress that there is a reasonable chance that economic sanctions, political isolation and covert activity will ultimately lead Iran to compromise on its nuclear development and agree to at least some of the West’s demands on the issue.
