This document discusses the negotiations between the US and Thailand concerning a bilateral free trade agreement. These talks were initiated by President Bush and Thai Prime Minister Thaskin on October 19, 2003. The Bush Administration notified Congress on February 12, 2004, that it intends to begin the negotiations, prompting a 90-day consultation period with Congress and the private sector.
