This report summarizes the 2011 PISM conference on challenges and opportunities in EU–Asia relations arising as a result of political and security developments in East Asia as well as in the EU. It covers the three sessions on 'political and security developments in East Asia', 'economic global governance' and 'does the European Union remain an attractive partner for Asia' and presents policy recommendations.
