This is a transcript of a discussion on why is crucial for the international community engages with Iran at every level. The speaker explores the historical evolution of this "formidable regional power", mostly focusing on the Islamic Revolution (1978-1979) and his perceptions and impressions above this crucial event. Moreover, the argument is that implementing an all-inclusive engagement strategy with Iran is an absolute priority, considering the strategic and regional repercussions on Western countries presence in Afghanistan, its residue in Iraq, and for the whole Middle East region security and stability.
