This article investigates the warfare principles and strategies of conventional warfare adapted to the current dynamics of cyber-warfare. It highlights that some doctrines, such as Sun Tsu or Clausewitz classic theoretical approaches, might be applied to the recent evolutions of the warfare conducts and practices. Furthermore, the authors identify some of the fundamental differences between cyber-warfare and conventional warfare in the nature of of their environment and in the exceptionally dual-use feature of the instruments of cyber-warfare.
