This brief discusses Egyptian-Israeli relations within the context of the Egyptian revolution. The author argues that as long as the prospects for moderation have not been visibly precluded by the actions of the Muslim Brotherhood and as long as international actors continue to believe that Islamist pragmatism may prevail over Islamist principle, Israel should pursue a policy of prudent accommodation and willingness to cooperate.
