This report discusses France’s positions and policies towards the European Union under President Hollande and its relationship with Poland. The authors illustrate Hollande’s policy emphases and visions in a crisis-ridden Union. A special focus is put on France’s position towards Poland and the Common Security and Defence Policy. It is argued that France and Poland should closely discuss the consequences of any potential eurozone integration cooperation and work together to help the process of updating the EU security strategy.
