It contains chapters written by international security experts from the region as well as contributions from the United States. The contributors were asked to concentrate on the perceptions of the security environment and threats in their countries or sub-regions of Central Europe, the assessment of the credibility of NATO’s defense and deterrence posture, and the way forward, especially from the point of view of the sustainability of the current posture.
