This is a transcript of a discussion on ways of adapting to new resource realities with Abdalla S El-Badri, Secretary General of OPEC. In his presentation, he touches on a variety of issues, ranging from the move away from the peak oil debate and the growing role of unconventional oil and gas, particularly tight oil and shale gas in the U.S., to the continuing and expanding nature of energy interdependence and fossil fuels as remaining central to the world's energy mix for the coming decades.
