This report examines the current proposals to ‘rebalance’ the EU’s fiscal architecture. The first half of the text sheds light on Brussels’ existing financial institutions, the criticism they’ve received, and the repairs that have been proposed. The second half then explores the preferences of the member states listed in the report’s title, particularly when it comes to the potential costs and benefits of the reforms.
