Against the backdrop of clashes between Palestinians and Israeli security forces, this brief addresses speculation that Israel is on the verge of a third intifada. It argues that even if the continued deadlock provokes a Palestinian outburst, it will not result in an escalation big enough that will, in retrospect, be called the Third Intifada.
