This is a transcript of a discussion with Kishore Mahbubani, dean of the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at the National University of Singapore. In his talk, Mahbubani looks at convergences in today’s world. These include the convergence between the North and South marked by the transition from poor to middle classes as well as between the East and West. He argues, however, that it is the global challenges that bring us all together are a more important consideration.
