This is a transcript of a speech by Malawi's president Joyce Banda in which she presents her vision for her country's future. In her talk, Banda outlines Malawi's history of political leadership and offers insights into her plans for economic development. Identifying poverty and a lack of opportunity and hope as the biggest threats to governance, growth and human rights, she emphasizes the importance of job creation and eradication of poverty.
