This "Perspectives on Terrorism" double issue explores a variety of issues in the field of terrorism studies, with a particular focus on terrorism in Africa. The articles cover topics ranging from engagement tactics of the movement for the emancipation of the Niger Delta, Nigerian Anti-Terrorism Legislation (ATL), and implications of the Arab spring for Al-Qaeda's and its African affiliates, to the organized crime-terror nexus in Sub-Saharan Africa and the interplay of terrorism, armed conflict and natural resources in Angola. In addition, the issue presents book reviews as well as a compiled bibliography of terrorism and violence in Africa.
