This issue of the Perspectives on Terrorism deals with a variety of topics pertaining to the field of terrorism studies. The first article discusses the role of counter-ideological responses the antiextremism discourse. The second focuses on the application of complex systems ideas to problems of US strategic communication in the so-called "war of ideas." The third paper explores how the trajectories of multinational corporations and transnational terrorist organizations have become increasingly similar since 9/11.
