This report assesses the progress in Afghanistan from the security, governance, and economic development perspectives. It looks at the situation in Afghanistan leading up to ISAF’s 2014 withdrawal and finds that improvements in all three areas are found wanting. It warns that if action is not taken, stability in Afghanistan post-ISAF is likely to worsen.
