This policy brief examines the disparity in the reported success rates of Israel's 'Iron Dome' defense system. Official statistics claim an 87% success rate in military operations in November 2012, whereas other analyses have put the rate as low as 5%. The author criticizes the claims of one critical report and finds serious methodological issues, particularly with regard to its credibility and interpretation of data.
