This policy brief argues that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu should use his May 2013 official visit to China to improve bilateral relations between the two countries. To do this, it suggests Israel will need to engage on issues that are of interest to China and not simply focus on China's potential role to fulfill Israel's own objectives. While each country's geopolitical situation differs, the author suggests that both Israel and China have reasons to enhance cooperation.
