In this speech, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Kozhara surveys developments in the country's domestic and foreign policies. Special emphasis is placed on the progress of internal reforms and Kyiv's efforts to conclude its association agreement with the European Union (EU). The speech argues that Ukraine remains a European state and that its domestic agenda and international engagement justify a closer relationship with the EU. The country's relations with Russia and the BRIC countries are also examined.
