This report introduces the IPI Peacekeeping Database on uniformed contributions to UN peacekeeping. The authors identify key trends in contributions to UN peacekeeping operations over the past two decades and suggest opportunities for further research using the IPI dataset. The authors also explore regional and sub-regional trends in contributions as well as reasons for countries’ contributions.
