This policy brief examines the link between Israel's energy and strategic policies. The author argues that any decision to reserve a portion of the country's gas for the domestic market must consider the role that this energy source could have in supporting Israel's foreign policy objectives. This is because gas exports could support the normalization of relations between Israel and its neighbors.
