This text briefly reviews how China and Bangladesh have constructed a strategic partnership with one another ever since the latter’s independence in 1971. Unsurprisingly, the partnership is largely due to the national self-interests of both countries, but it has also been helped by China’s consistent foreign relations, as described here.
