This policy brief focuses on the revolution in Egypt and discusses challenges and recommendations for Israel with regard to Egypt. The authors argue that Israel must deepen its cooperation with the Egyptian army and consider the growing influence of civilian elements in Egypt in order to maintain or improve its peaceful relations. They warn that a prolonged internal struggle in Egypt can be expected.
