This report discusses the organizational problems that have slowed Australia’s work to develop a simple but effective cyber policy, contrasting the Australian experience with steps taken by its closest allies, the US and UK. It then details the Australian Strategic Policy Institute's perspective on the emerging agenda for cybersecurity in Australia, before recommending steps that the government should take to develop a clear policy framework.
