This study discusses the main elements of the UN peacekeeping training strategy and evaluates the extent of its progress. It examines the role of UN member states, focusing on a case study of the Center of Excellence for Stability Police Units (CoESPU) in Italy. The study acknowledges that while significant efforts are underway, more needs to be done to ensure that UN peacekeeping operations have access to the right people with the right skills.
