1098. This book, which contains eight chapters, summarizes the activities of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO). In doing so, it discusses the creation and evolution of the SCO and outlines its political, economic, social and humanitarian activities. Overall, and despite some reservations, the authors ultimately agree that the SCO's normative foundations and membership rolls are sufficiently robust for the organization to grow in the future, and maybe even become a possible pillar of cooperation in Central Asia.
