This brief examines possible American military responses to the use of chemical weapons in Syria and what these could mean for Israel. The authors argue that Israel should adhere to a policy in which it focuses only on actions against chemical warfare and not the civil war in order to protect its interests in the region. They also say that the US and Israel should continue to communicate and coordinate their actions to punish Assad's regime and prevent it from using chemical weapons.
