This brief examines the agreement reached between the US and Russia on the destruction of Syria's chemical weapon arsenal. The author says that if implemented, the agreement will benefit Russia, the US, al-Assad's regime in Syria, and Israel. However, he also says the agreement will adversely affect the Syrian opposition as well as justice and morality. The piece ends by examining scenarios of how the disarmament of Syria's chemical weapons might take place.
