This is a transcript of a talk by BBC presenter Jeremy Paxman in which he discusses his book "Great Britain's Great War," which focuses on the day-to-day experiences of the British people in World War I. Looking at a cross-section of British society, including the soldiers fighting on the front lines, Paxman considers what shaped the mood and morale of the country during the war years and how life and identity in Britain were forever changed after the conflict ended.
