This paper encourages policy makers and business leaders in Canada and Australia to pursue greater bilateral and multilateral cooperation in Asia. In particular, it recommends joint efforts in four areas – 1) strengthening regional security, 2) bolstering regional governance mechanisms, 3) enhancing bilateral defense and security cooperation, and 4) boosting economic and defense industry cooperation.
