This paper talks about the economic and finance, trade liberalization, infrastructure, and development challenges facing the G20 ahead of the 2014 Brisbane summit. Some of main arguments made by the authors include that the G20 should make a combined G20 growth strategy and the release of each member's individual strategy should be a priority for the summit; that G20 leaders should aim to provide strategic guidance on the future of the multilateral trading system; and that the G20 should seek to increase coordination between development processes such as its own program, the post-2015 Millennium Development Goals, and the UN’s sustainable development agenda.
