This report examines the bilateral aid activities in Moldova by the Visegrade 4 (V4) countries, which include the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, and Slovakia. The authors look at the involvement of each of the V4 states in Moldova and evaluate what the country's assistance needs. They conclude that the V4 states should focus on supporting Moldova in its efforts to strengthen its democratic institutions, modernize the economy, and settle the Transnistrian conflict.
