This article discusses the Saudi Arabian position towards the United States, drawing particularly on an article written by Mohammed bin Nawaf, the country's ambassador to Great Britain. The authors suggest that while the article was written by a relatively low-level official, it clearly represents the positions of the regime. They also argue that while the article does not mention the US President Obama directly, it is clear that the criticism of the West's policy toward Iran and Syria is directed at him and that Saudi Arabia is very disappointed with these policies.
