This global-level report on suicide bombings provides information on the number, location, targets and motives behind the attacks that occurred in 2013. It provides, for example, the following data: 291 suicide bombings occurred in 18 countries and caused approximately 3,100 deaths. The 291 attacks, by the way, represent a 25% increase over the 230 that occurred in 2012.
