This paper discusses Israel’s seizure of an Iranian weapons shipment on March 5th, 2014 on board the cargo ship “Klos C”. The authors also look at the different methods by which Iran attempts to smuggle weapons to both Hizbollah and the Palestinian organizations in the Gaza Strip; speculate on who the Klos C arms were intended for; provide a summary of the weapons in the shipment; and explain why Iranian attempts to smuggle weapons into Gaza are worrisome for the Egyptian government.
