This paper analyzes the cyberterrorist threat posed by the Syrian Electronic Army (SEA), a political hacking group that supports the al-Assad regime. More specifically, the authors examine depictions of the group, when it first emerged, and the kind of attacks it makes. They argue that, so far, SEA has not developed to the point where it can cause serious damage.
