This paper examines whether attacks on the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) near the Israeli border with Syria and Lebanon in March 2014, which the author says were carried out by Hezbollah and potentially with the knowledge of Assad’s Syrian forces, suggest that a period of relative quiet in Israel’s northern theater may be ending.
