This brief uses Iran’s "Newscaster" cyber-attack to illustrate how increasingly sophisticated the Islamic Republic's cyber warfare capabilities have become. The improvements, however, are not largely technological. Their roots are firmly planted in Teheran's enhanced operational and intelligence capabilities.
