This document presents a collection of articles discussing the role religion has played in the international political arena since the end of the Cold War. Individual contributions focus on 1) transnational religious actors and their impact on the international order; 2) the role of religion in shaping the behavior of states and non-state actors; 3) the place of secularism and religion in modern democratic societies; 4) the distinction between moderate and radical secularism; and 5) the role of secularism in contemporary international relations.
