Publication

This paper provides an overview of the Philippines military modernization program. The author outlines the overarching goals of the modernization efforts, the factors which are driving the reform, as well as the elements of the country's armed forces which are most likely to be affected. He also addresses some of the implications Philippine enhanced military capability could have for Australian security.
