This is a transcript of a panel discussion on the role of the Chinese Labor Corps during WWI and its legacy in China’s modern history. The panel also looks at why there has been a resurgence of academic interest in this Corps, particularly in China and France, as well as what this means for relations between Beijing and Paris.
