In light of ceasefire negotiations aimed at ending Israel's “Operation Protective Edge” in July 2014, this brief examines the political agendas and interests of Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Qatar in the Israel-Palestine conflict. Examining these, argue the authors, reveals a growing fragmentation between Muslim states in the region.
