This paper looks at what the authors see as the delegitimization of the state of Israel following its military action in Gaza and resulting international backlash. More specifically, the authors argue that the delegitimization of Israel in the international arena has become a real threat which could harm the country’s national and security interests in the future. To counter this threat, Israel must expend considerable efforts and manpower on the diplomatic, media, economic and legal arenas to promote the Israeli narrative.
