This issue of the G20 Monitor contains papers dealing with the role of the G20 in the following areas: 1) strengthening international institutions; 2) introducing ex ante regulatory impact statements when considering new financial regulations; and 3) trade liberalization. It also includes a report on the ‘G20 Conference: Strengthening Accountability and Effectiveness’ hosted by the G20 Studies Centre in June 2014.
