This brief argues that the UN must reform its 'peacebuilding architecture' if it hopes to keep up with 1) fresh threats to global peace and security, and 2) unprecedented challenges to rebuilding nation-states. After looking at how the UN has responded to these requirements thus far, the brief provides its own recommendations on what needs to be done.
